So so good! Great location, whether your getting on a boat or just want somewhere yummy to eat! They were able to accommodate a party of 14 very easily (we are here during off season) and everything was delicious!
A lovely spot along the Destin Gulf with stunning views and good vibes. They had an extensive menu of both drinks and food. We tried both the aperol spritz and mojito and they were both quite good. We also ordered the tacos and poke which were very delicious. The portions are definitely filling and enough for dinner. The dining room itself was very open concept and offered stunning views of the daily sunsets.
Came for lunch and couldn’t have been happier. Don’t miss the hummus! Its accompanied by hot pita, cucumber salad, arugula, and pickled onions; can’t be beat! Perfect app for a hot day! Great atmosphere. Superstar wait staff and service. Definitely worth the stop.
My group & I are from out of town and the owners Miriam & her husband were so friendly and offered so many great recommendations. Everyone loved their food & the space is super cute! Nice vegetarian options, too.
Absolutely the best food we had in Destin by far. No comparison. Don’t blow $150+ on the larger mediocre restaurants with long wait times. The Harbor Tavern is a fantastic, reasonably-priced, family-owned restaurant you can’t miss. Eat here and you won’t be disappointed! Indoor and outdoor seating available.
They validate parking as well.
When you are done walk over to Beignets and Brews for fresh beignets and coffee!
Great Korean bbq wings, make sure we plan a stop every time we are in town. Their fries are always nice and fresh as well. The rum runner makes a complimentary drink that brings the meal together ❤️
The food is delicious! We got the Mahi tacos & the pork belly tacos! The view is great, as well! Definitely coming back for more!
Finally got to try out The Harbor Tavern. I had had some food from here that was catered to a wedding and it was phenomenal a few years ago so I was excited to finally experience it in person. I got the bowl w/ blackened mahi mahi, wow 🤤. My bf got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich with fries. Fish was great of course, but those fries though, delicious. As my bf said “these are the best fries I’ve ever had!”. I agree, perfectly crispy on outside and so flavorful. Can’t wait to go back when I’m in town next. Oh and how could I forget.. that tuna dip, you gotta get it!! It was so yummy especially with the seasoned pita chips they were served with 😋
They’re also nice enough to validate your parking so no need to pay those outrageous harbor parking prices, just the cherry on top 🍒
